It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to create a schedule within one vacancy that mimics a traveling teacher assignment. Currently, multiple vacancies must be created for a single assignment if it is for a traveling teacher vacancy, and when times vary by day, the process becomes more complex and very time consuming. Being able to build one vacancy with a flexible schedule like we can for employees would improve clarity and save significant time.

I'd love to see vacancy postings have more flexibility. Our sites often ask current staff to work extra and thereby fill vacancies in bits and pieces. Currently, a new vacancy posting must be created for each portion of the shift that is filled by current employee. This makes it tedious both for data entry and approvals.

Allow for a single day of a vacancy to be split AM and PM without having to create another assignment for the portion of the split day that needs another sub assigned. We don't allow school users to create vacancies and my team would benefit from a streamlined and efficient way to split the absence, over the time consuming extra steps to create an entirely new half day absence. Oftentimes, these just have to go unfilled because of how hectic things are in the mornings when we are being notified that a vacancy needs to be split.
