Time Off Balance Adjustments & History

At our district, we front load leave balances. Because of that, there are times during the year where we need to make adjustments. Leave time may need to be increased/decreased due to payouts of time, mid-year changes up/down in FTE, etc. Red Rover doesn't have a mechanism for "adjustments". I fully understand how to make changes to balances; however, there is no ability to INCLUDE A MEMO to explain the change for tracking purposes. Further, the Employee History record that actually shows the detail changes/adjustments DOES NOT carry forward from school year to school year. We would like to ask that the ability to retain this information be made available, as well as a mechanism to record descriptions for changes made to employee balances. Thanks so much!

Larry Foxx Well it looks like I misunderstood what the option was for. I thought it was just to be able to make adjustments to balances and leave notes. I did not realize this was for leave that is accrued thought the year. We front load so can we remove this option and go back to the way it was before?

Janice Artale: Janice you absolutely can still front load balances at the beginning of the year. You can use it in the same way! Those balances that folks had prior should be in place just the same way as they had before.

Okay, you can leave it. There was panic from everyone when the balances went to zero mid-day. I see that they are returning to the previous balances now. All accept for the Comp time seems to be correct. It is probably still in the process of the change. Thank you!

Larry Foxx out comp time has not calculated the CT earned from July 1st through today, it is only showing the carried over balance.
