Start/End Date for School Year for 10-Month Staff

It would be nice to be able to list a start date and end date either by contract or position type for each school year so staff (and their school admin) who work 10-months do not receive time sheet notifications all summer when they are not expected to work.

1000% Agree with this. We just moved to Red Rover and it was a huge learning curve to have not have a start and end to a contract year and one area that I feel like was a step backwards. My administrations didn't understand why they have timesheets to approve for staff who don't work.

It would be very helpful in addition because we have staff who work different jobs in the summer and I have to end date their school year position so they can work their summer position and then add their school year position back. It is a lot of wasted data entry. If the contact had school years were you can make a start and an end all of those issue would be resolves

This would be extremely helpful! Many employees start back to work in the middle of a pay period and have warnings because they didn't enter time for the previous days. This is confusing for the employee and the approver.
