Option to require notes for vacancies

We would like the option to require notes when creating vacancies, similar to the feature available when creating absences, where we can require a note. Currently, buildings are creating multiple extra help assignments without providing information about the purpose of the assignment. Having this option would allow us to obtain the necessary information without the need to reach out to the building.

Adding REQUIRED Notes to Admin when creating a Vacancy

It would be very nice to have the option in the settings to have Notes to Admin REQUIRED. We get that option under normal absence reasons. Currently one of our districts have Notes to Admin REQUIRED if they select, Professional Development. The employee can't create the absence without adding notes. Having that option for Vacancies would be extremely helpful for data reporting.

Instead of requiring Vacancies to require approval, would like the ability to require admins to enter a note when entering a vacancy.

Notes to Administrator should be required as a default for any Vacancy

This would be very, very helpful.

I would appreciate this, as well. Entering the information in the Admin comments means I have to move all of the information on absentee reporting because prints in a different place. Vacancies should be set up more like regular absences in terms of formatting.

This is very important to our district as we require them to have a valid job posting in order to create a vacancy.

I agree! Much needed. I currently go back in after reaching out to the building, and add the necessary notes under Administrator comments
