Manually adjust balance in bulk/import

With the Accrual Policies feature, we can now adjust an employee's time off balance by a specific amount rather than having to specify a fixed value for the new balance as of a specific date. The "adjust amount ___ days" function has several advantages over specifying a new fixed amount. The audit trail is clearer, the math is less complicated, etc. However there isn't a way to use this "adjust amount ___ days" feature in bulk, such as in an import. We need this added as a type of import as an alternative to having to import new balances as the "fixed value as of date."
One of the benefits to this is it would drastically shorten the process for importing balance changes, such as for instances that are too complicated/irregular to work as an Accrual Policy. We wouldn't need to run a report showing current balances, change the balances in the report, check whether anyone's balanced has changed in the last 30 minutes because of a new absence entry, and then import the new balances. We would be able to take a spreadsheet listing the relevant employees, fill in the time off type and how many days to add/subtract, and then import.

Hey there folks! Just wanted to let you know that you can now import "balance adjustments" > literally "adding" or "subtracting" days or hours as of a certain date!
You'll want to use the following columns to do so:
- Identifier (of employee)
- Category (if applicable)
- Reason (if applicable)
- Balance Unit (days or hours)
- As of date
- Adjustment (positive numbers add (+), negative numbers subtract (-))
- Comment (If needed! Whatever you add here will be added as a comment in the balance log).
Please make sure to
test
this process first with one employee before running a large import, to ensure your format is correct and that you're seeing the proper effects take place.N

This is the one I'm looking for! We are very excited about the new balance format. We feel it's going to be much easier for the employee to follow and much more transparent.
Our state has written some complex laws around sick leave accrual, and we as a district have painted ourselves into some complicated corners when it comes to vacation accruals. My guess is that most other districts have painted themselves into similar (but slightly different) corners. Making the Accrual Policies robust enough to handle all of these is a tall task.
Importing manual adjustments to leave balances would be a huge value add! Especially as you work to build out the Accrual Policies.
