Limit Multiday Absences

I would love if we could limit our multiday abences to only consecutive and only with in one pay period. We have many staff who will submit 1 absence for multiple days throughout the school year. Example a team meeting, they will submit every team meeting they will have for the entire school year in 1 absence. This becomes especially cumbersome if the person leaves and a substitute picks it up.

So true! Also effected is if a sub has been removed from that building.

Agree, it makes it very confusing to the admin and the subs!

We had this happen a lot a few years ago in our district. What happened with us is the sub didn't even notice that they picked up a job that was one day in October, one day in December, and one day in March and then they didn't show up for the December and March days. Had to retrain staff not to put absences in that way, but it still happens at times.
