Internal/external application process
Mike Weisman
Hey there folks!
Wanted to let you know that on a job posting, you are now able to choose different applications on a specific job posting for internal vs. external candidates!
On the job posting, you can turn on the switch to "Provide unique internal application for this job posting." Then, you'll be able to choose one application for the General application template, and one for the Internal application template. (See the screenshot below). Hope this helps!

It seems like you could make a separate hiring template for internal postings with the requirements you desire, but I'm new and still learning!

Becky Socia You can make a separate posting for an internal posting - however, we often post externally for positions and have internal candidates apply as well. For an internal candidate, we historically have not made them complete a full application with all of the external questions, we would have them submit a modified application that is less extensive (i.e., since they have already provided their employment history prior to working in our district we wouldn't need that again). When drawing internal and external candidates, it would be nice to be able to do that on the same posting, so you're not tracking applicants in two postings for one position.
