Hiring - Hiring Board Permissions

The ability to grant action and visibility permissions in hiring stages to hiring team members based on the type of team member and the stage would be helpful. I.e., a viewer can only view applicants in the qualified/interviewing stages, but a contributor could view and move candidates once they have been reviewed as qualified. HR pre-screens applications to ensure applicants are qualified, and then hands the hiring process off to supervisors.

Hey there Colleen Chute, hope you're doing well! I know it's been awhile since you entered this idea into our IDEAS board, but I just wanted to check in to make sure you were aware that you can now grant visibility per stage based on the role of the team member? If you go to your hiring stages in SETTINGS, you can click on the "three dots" icon next to a stage, and choose "Access & Visibility". You can then choose what roles on the team are able to view that particular stage :)

Mike Weisman Thanks for following up! I do have a question - if I grant access and visibility to a role, does that mean they can take action (i.e., move candidates to another stage) or is it truly just a visibility role so they can see who is in that stage? THANK YOU!

Colleen Chute Good clarifying question there Colleen. So the "role" determines _what_ they're allowed to do. If they're a "contributor", then they will have those same permissions in whatever stage you give them access to. You won't be able to assign "view only" in stage 2, and "edit" in stage 4 for the same job.
