Expose settings for entering absences for future school years

It would be great if we could have a setting or something that would not allow staff to enter absences for future school years. For example: Staff would not be able to enter absences for the 2022-2023 school year until August 1, 2022.
The reason for this would be that we need the summer months to update the list of subs for the next school year. During the summer months, we also update the number of personal days each staff member is allowed for the upcoming school year.

We will be developing a setting to limit the number of days in advance that absences will be able to be entered. This should allow for much more control here for districts!

We make many location and schedule changes that would avoid errors if staff could only create absences in the current semester. I agree that creating absences for a future school year is an issue. Maybe a message to try again 8/1. I might even take it one step further and restrict absences for second semester before then end of first semester. Message from 7/1 to 12/31 to hold absences after 1/1. Anything 8/14 to 12/20 should wait until after 8/1. Anything 1/8 to 5/22 should wait until 1/1. If the message came up when there was an attempt to make the entry instead of simply putting a bulletin out for everyone to read once and maybe not look at it again when they are planning ahead later.

It should only be allowed if the calendar is already set up for the next school year in Red Rover.
