Employee attaching notes after the absence date

It would be great if the employee could add a note (not make any other changes) after the absence date. When we request documentation for an absence such as a doctor note, we attach the file to the absence in the Admin/Employee Note section. I would like to have the employee be able to attach their own doctor notes, but after the absence date has occurred they do not have the ability to upload/attach anymore while our admins still can. Most of the time employees do not have a doctor note before the absence.
