Date range to temporarily suspend a sub from accepting or being assigned to jobs

It would be nice to be able to temporarily suspend a substitute from accepting or being assigned to jobs for a specific date range. We often have substitutes that have restrictions and not able to substitute for a period of time.
Instead of making them inactive, removing their attribute, or adding non-recurring events that a sub can delete, it would be nice if we could enter a date range that would not allow them to see available jobs or be assigned to jobs by an admin for the date range only. Or allow admin to create a non-recurring event for that sub but have some type of flag that I can choose so the sub cannot delete any of the days for that time period. This would still allow a sub to review/accept available assignments in the future instead of waiting until we add the attribute back in or reactivate them.

Another thought - have a button where super users can check a box "Hide all jobs" from a particular sub as needed. Similar to subs being able to "Hide" schools.

YES!!!! It is challenging enough to find subs for last minute absences to add last minute cancellation to grab a different assignment. It should block them from taking another job on that day.
