Class Coverage / Internal Subs Can Only Work at their Own School

When assigning class cover subs, I would like Red Rover to exclude any employees who do not work at the absence location. Today, we need to search through all the employees in the district to find a class cover sub for the school. We have temporarily added attributes for each school in order to manage this on the assign screen, but this is very cumbersome to maintain.
We would like this to filter the "Find Subs" report for school admins based on their location as well.

Particularly for Class Cover subs, indicating on their profile that they are only a valid match for a single location or for a single employee would be helpful.

Unless/until they make this feature, what I have been doing is making them "favorites" for their own school only. Then when I search on the dropdown, I select the option to show favorites only.

Caroline, how does the attributes effect your other substitutes? Do you have to add each school to your default subs so they can see those assignments?

For single employee, you can make a new permissions file that makes it so they can only be assigned to jobs, they can't take jobs on their own, so that an admin can assign them to that specific class only. That's what we've done in the past with class subs, but you can reach out to RR tech support for more help!

The super user can do this if I’m understanding the request. You go to the sub’s profile. Then to the sub pool and edit. Here you can block them from all locations and at the one employee they are allowed to sub for as a favorite. The only thing I’m not 100% on is if you block the location so it hides her from everyone would it still allow her favorite to come through. I kinda don’t think so. It may be time consuming but you could block her from the individual employees and even filter through the position types. If they are class cover only give them only that attribute. I’m not RR tech support. Just another user trying to help.
