Calendars should pause positions automatically, if the pause function is being used for districts.

Hi Mike Weisman, It is actually Regyna here. Not sure how it came up as Katie...but what I am envisioning, is if we are going to have summer school starting after an employee's regular calendar year, the system can know a pause of the position is effective the last working day and anything added after is a new/temporary position. Basically, trying to eliminate the need to create a temporary position with a pause start date. So that if we add a temporary position we do not have the error saying cannot have overlap in work schedules. Does that make sense?

Regyna Jones: Thanks for the context! Much appreciated.

Hey there Katie Heu, thanks for reaching out. Could you give a bit more context here for us? When you say "the calendar should pause the position", what about the calendar specifically do you envision controlling the pauses?
