The break field in timesheets for the updated timesheet modual is a real problem. I have had several different staff think they need to enter the total amount of time worked for the day in that field, which of course nets their time worked to zero. Re formating or labeling needs to happen as this is happening for us very frequently.

Larry Foxx Unfortunately, my experience is that this still is not "in their face" enough to not put their entire time duration in this box. We fixed MANY time entries again this payroll period for people who put their entire time duration in the break box. Anyone else still experiencing this with the new enhancement?

This is an active discussion at RR. We have some ideas on how to make this more intuitive, particularly when the break field is set as a "duration".

This is a huge problem for us as well. When we set up the contracts and choose duration you don't have to select break. When I choose range the option for break comes up and you have to choose range or duration there.. would be great if you could add none or not recorded. so it wont even show up on the timesheet

Our subs have the exact problem and creates more time for me to walk them through it or just fixing it myself every time.

Our employees do this frequently as well. Drives me crazy because I end up having to fix them all. Reviewers don't even notice it! It may help if that field had the words "BREAK" , "BREAK PERIOD" or something right inside the box, versus the coffee cup. People don't know what that symbol is, or they overlook it. This should be implemented for computer entry and phone app entry so that it's more obvious to the user.

This has happened to us multiple times. Red Rover added to some of our timesheets the option to "Remove Break" for the employee.. it would be great if that was an option for all.
