Blocking Subs - option to remove a sub from future assignments when blocked

I also believe if a substitute is blocked from a site, they should NOT be visible on the substitute list by the admins. They were blocked for a reason. A substitute can also block a school and not want to go back, and that could be a privacy issue for them.

Agreed... but does Red Rover have the ability track and monitor this kind of action? I wonder?

If a substitute has been blocked from a particular location it should automatically remove any upcoming assignments that the substitute may have at that location.

When programming a sub to be "Blocked" or excluded from working at a site for misconduct, the block should automatically remove the substitute from the assigned jobs to that site in the future. The substitute should already have been talked to about the incident so they will not be surprised to see their name removed.

What about it instead of auto-blocking, it alerted the user that the substitute had UPCOMING assignments at that location. This way the admin user could decide if they want to remove or keep this substitute in these future assignments.

Brian Propst: Unfortunately, because our most administrators do not have the time to even review the absences that upcoming feature won't work. If an auto-block due to the substitutes negligence that would make them more accountable and responsible for what they do. The auto-block for the remainder of the day would work as it did with frontline.
