Hey there folks! You can now inactivate JUST a specific role on an user's profile, without losing the ability to view their history and profile info. Now, when you click "Remove [sub/employee] access", it will just inactivate that role, and won't remove it entirely :) Here's an article to show you how! https://help.redroverk12.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055977431-How-to-Inactivate-a-Role-on-a-User

Inactive Sub Profile only when a sub is hired into a regular position.

It would be helpful when a sub gets hired into a regular position to just "Inactive" their sub profile so their sub history remains visible under their name. Right now the only way to get their sub history is running a report, but this requires knowing approximately when they worked.

Angela Bush you should be able to just add/remove a role without deactivating the whole profile. If somebody has been given both profiles, just use the 3 dot menu to the right to remove a role.

Larry Foxx: We need to be able to deactivate a portion of the profile (substitute, employee, or administrator) without removing it from the overall profile of the person.

Christy Parker: Agreed. When you remove the role the history goes with it. It's important to keep that history. We have sub teachers who go under contract and become and employee for a short time, accruing sick time etc... and then when the assignment is over they go back to being a regular sub. I don't want to remove their employee role, just deactivate it when it's over.

Cindy Vaccariello: We did discover that if you assign the profile back to them, all their history comes along with it. But I would LOVE to only be able to deactivate certain profiles.

Larry Foxx: Hi Larry. I think she is asking to INactivate one of the profiles not deleting it or removing it.
