We have positions like chaperone that are used under multiple locations, and it would be easier if we could add in a duplicate position.

When you are creating the vacant/open position you make sure to fill in the "Bulk Create Vacancy" button at the bottom of the page. You can create up to 20 of the same position at the same time.
