Add report field for Overtime Earned via Work Only (No PTO/Holiday) (BBB)

Due to the recent tax exemption rule which grants federal tax exemptions on the half time portion of overtime pay related ONLY to actual work time (excludes PTO and holiday hours), we need to track the non-PTO/non-holiday overtime of our employees. The current fields include all overtime, whether it was earned via work time or also PTO/a holiday.

It would be helpful if Red Rover could separate FLSA-eligible overtime from "other" overtime driven by CBA language...
I’m not certain what the best solution is yet, but I’d like to start the conversation, especially given the new OBBBA rules. Under this law, only overtime required under the FLSA — hours actually worked over 40 in a workweek — counts for the federal overtime deduction. Overtime paid for other reasons, like daily overtime, holiday pay, or leave-based overtime under a CBA, does not qualify.
For 2025, the IRS encourages employers to provide employees with this FLSA-eligible overtime information, and eventually it will need to be reported separately on W-2s. It would be helpful to explore a practical way for Red Rover to capture and export this data so it can feed accurately into payroll and support future reporting requirements.

Yes, it would be helpful to have an overtime job code which is straight time pay and an overtime premium job code which is the 50% of the straight time rate on the same job.
