Even if unlocking the pay cycle still left the employee deadline lock in place so that time entries entered would push forward to the next pay cycle, that would help. But I agree. I've had to unlock a pay cycle to make changes, and someone has entered time that was #1 past the Friday before deadline and #2 ends up IN the current pay cycle instead of pushing forward. So, now we have to track down another approval and the employee who entered time late gets a free pass on the deadline.
