This feature is now in production, and is found under Settings>Contracts. More information will be added to the knowledge base soon, but this is pretty straightforward.

Larry Foxx This is amazing! Can you confirm this for me: If an employee does not work over the summer (still gets paid though), could I essentially turn off the warnings for their timesheets over the summer INSTEAD of effectively ending their assignment?
Larry Foxx
Melissa Rossi- that definitely sounds like a use case for this. You could sort of put these on mute for a while. Obviously this is brand new territory for us, but you are thinking of this the right way!

Larry Foxx Yes! That's what I'm thinking of.... just using this feature as a "pause". I'm assuming it will be set for all positions at this time, which is fine. Our 12 month employees expect to submit hours on a timesheet anyways. I wonder if it's a possibility in the future to custom fit these notification settings based on individual positions.
I'm really happy with this new feature. Thanks Red Rover!

We'll have some news to share soon on this topic!

Still an issue in July of 2025. Can we please make this happen!

Acknowledge button on timesheet warnings

Thinking that an acknowledge button on the warnings for timesheets would be helpful. That way you could clear them out to see new ones. Currently we have a lot of them due to us working summer hours instead of our usual schedule. Or if there is a better solution, please let me know.

Error/Alerts

Can we please create a way that the warnings or error messages in the employee timesheets are able to shut off or made less blaring? Most of my building secretaries do not need to be aware if an employee is a few minutes late or early. By highlighting the whole day in red, most secretaries are worried that something is actually wrong (missing time, mulitple punches, etc) and get a little nervous. If we could switch to just having a small "!" on the days that are early punches or something it would be helpful to narrow down what are actual issues that need attention. Even if there was the choice to only have warnings show up once the timesheet has been submitted would be an approvement.

This is just a suggestion but it would be nice to have a way of acknowledging the discrepancies in scheduled time so then the warning on them would go away. So when there is a warning that someone started early and stayed late you could check it off then the red would go away. Thank you

Agree! Highlighting too much makes the tool ineffective

I like this idea and I would like to set a threshold as well for our district.

Warning options for time tracking

Please add a threshold for warnings. When an employee is off by 1 minute it flags their timesheet.( so all my time sheets are flagged) Can we please have an option to flag it only if they clock in early/late by 10 minutes ?

I would like it to be an option if you want to turn on or off warnings for early or late punches! We don't have a grace period here and it confuses the staff when they see all these warnings. But I would like to have warnings for Missed punches or break times not completed !
