Ability to choose which admins can use which restricted absence reasons / vacancy reasons
R
Regyna Jones
We need the option to make any absence reason that is restricted remain restricted to only one type of permission set, for example, we have unpaid leave that we need all admin users to access, but not employees. We have industrial accidental leave that only disability management needs to access and those staff members are super org users and need to use the absence reason only not school or district admin users. Basically, we need a restriction for school, district, super org, employee, sub etc. If there are different types of users of the platform, they all need to have different absence reason access. Please, please, please put this to the top of the list today!!!!!!!

It would be helpful to have the ability to "lock" Loacation Admins out of certain absence reasons. For example Admin Leave to be only entered by Super Users in our Benefits/HR Departments

Here at ECSD I feel that having the option to "Lock" certain absences would be amazing! When an employee is put on Admin Leave, FMLA or other various leaves. All Building Admin can see this and that is not always appropriate and they could honestly change it and we (HR/Payroll) would be unaware unless we are auditing the absences.

We need this as well. We would like to restrict which admins have the ability to enter paid administrative leave.

Restricted absences

We would like to have the option to have more granular permissions for restricted absences. Currently it is all absences or nothing. We would like to give separate restricted absence reasons to allow building level admin to enter some and have others only district admin can enter.

I agree..this is a huge problem. Employees cannot enter their own staff developments, the campus secretaries do. I can't put staff development under restricted, then the secretaries can't access. I have not choice but to un- restrict it. This will be constant monitoring until this is fixed. Please make this a priority.

Manage which vacancy reasons are available by level of administrative access.

We'd love to be able to indicate certain vacancy reasons and decide whether or not to make each of those available to school administrators

Adding Another Permission Step for Absence Reasons/Codes

Is there a possibility another level of visibility for an ADM user can be added for absence reasons? Currently the School ADM and the District ADM can see the same absence reason codes. We can hide reasons/codes from the employee, but we would like certain absence reasons hidden from the School ADM as well (such as FMLA, or an unpaid absence). Far too often one of the school ADM's accidentally choses a protect reason, which has payroll implications. We have tried renaming the code FOR HR ONLY, but it doesn't always work.

I would like the ability to indicate another level of "restricted" absence reasons, where an administrator might have access to create an absence for one type of restricted leave, but not another.

I want to give my School Administrators the ability to use the FMLA absence code but not the COVID-19 code.

Tiered Access for Absence Reason Codes

It would be very helpful to have tiers of access for absence reason codes, rather than just "restricted" or "non-restricted" - We would like our teachers to have access to one set of codes, our principals/building users to a few additional codes, and our HR users to have access to all.

It would be helpful to have the ability to restrict absences for some positions and not others.
